SANA'A July 28. 2024 (Saba) - Capital Sana'a Mayor Dr.Hamoud Ubad inspected on Sunday the progress of work on al-Aqsa model project in al-Quds roundabout in Maeen district.
Ubad was briefed on the level of achievement in the project, which includes a model of al-Aqsa Mosque and the first verse of Surat "Al-Isra", a fountain, and aesthetic spaces, funded by the local council and supervised by the Cleanliness Fund, and implemented by the Executive Unit for the establishment, maintenance and development of roads and public places in the Secretariat.
He listened from the Director of the Executive Unit, En. Abdulmalik al-Ansi, to an explanation of the work completed in installing secondary bridges, iron, the dome of the metal structure, and building the walls of the facades of the Al-Aqsa model, as well as the work of implementing the water fountain located under the bridge and the aesthetic spaces within the scope of the roundabout, with a completion rate of 45 percent.
Ubad confirmed that this model and other models that were implemented in the capital Sana'a are a translation of the directives of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council, and are an image of solidarity and support for the Palestinian people, and the entrenchment of the Palestinian cause in the conscience of the Yemeni people.
