MOSCOW July 27. 2024 (Saba) - Official spokesman for the Russian Kremlin, Dmitry Peskov, has said Russia and the United States do not currently have any bilateral relations.
"In fact, we simply do not have bilateral relations now," Peskov said in a meeting with participants in the "New Media" festival.
Peskov pointed out that the statements of former US President Donald Trump that Russia defeated Napoleon and Hitler "are useful to the American public."
He added that "during Trump's presidency, the United States began the sanctions race against Russia and a large number of sanctions were imposed against our country, so for us it is not much different from anyone else."
Earlier, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov stated that the current relations between Moscow and Washington can be described as "collapsed", and the American side is responsible for that.
