MOSCOW July 27. 2024 (Saba) - Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stressed that the new doctrine of the US Marines based on "deceiving and misleading the enemy" is completely identical to Washington's political doctrine.
"The new doctrine of the U.S. Marine Corps has a distinctive designation – 'deception', which perfectly characterizes Washington's political doctrine," Zakharova said on her Telegram account in response to the announcement of the U.S. doctrine last June, which is mainly based on various practices to deliberately mislead the enemy by manipulating information. She pointed out that the standard special forces practices used to deceive the enemy "through which the US administration resorts to deceiving the internal and external public."
"Under the extremely dirty circumstances of the US presidential election campaign, the counterwheel of fraud and counterfeiting, especially with regard to Russia, is working to distort the real situation, to the maximum," she said.
"The use of special propaganda techniques turns into a chronic disease. The American media itself is writing directly about this, especially the Washington Examiner, which published an article entitled: The White House is Run by Lies.
The Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman asked: "When will Washington stop the deception approach in the international arena, and when will the compliant part of the international community stop pretending to believe these lies?" The answer to this question consists of the letters of the word: never."
"We often talk about what happened in Iraq, Libya, Syria and Afghanistan. We will not stop reminding you of this until such destructive lies in the name of selfish American interests stop."
"You don't have to look away from examples. What is happening in the Gaza Strip now? Even publications controlled by Washington's British allies (for example, the Guardian) write how the US State Department did not hesitate to falsify documents in order to remove responsibility for blocking humanitarian access.
"Of fundamental importance is the situation in Ukraine, which is the result of many years of systematic deception by Washington: from promises not to expand NATO to distorting the meaning of our negotiating position and hypocritical flirtation, and even outright intimidation of the international community into hiding the true motives for supporting the Kiev regime," she said.
