“Hoopoe 3” confirms Hezbollah's possession of formidable intelligence deterrent force: Report
[Wed, 24 Jul 2024 21:17:31 +0300]

CAPITALS July 24. 2024 (Saba) - The recent video published by the Lebanese Hezbollah military media, titled "Hoopoe 3," showcased scenes and footage of the Zionist "Ramat David" air base in northern occupied Palestine.

This video conveyed several significant messages, most notably the revelation of the precise capabilities possessed by the Lebanese resistance.

These capabilities enable Hezbollah to target strategic enemy installations throughout the occupied territories of Palestine, effectively bypassing all interception systems.

On Wednesday, the military media of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah - released aerial footage taken by the resistance in northern occupied Palestine. This footage, captured on Tuesday, represents the third episode in the series “What the Hoopoe Came Back With.”

The eight-and-a-half-minute video clip released by Hezbollah's military media showcased scenes of the Zionist enemy's sole air base in northern occupied Palestine, the "Ramat David" base, located 46 kilometers from the border with Lebanon.

Through this video, Hezbollah effectively added the Ramat David air base, along with all its facilities, to its strategic target list.

The footage, captured by the "Hoopoe/Hudhud" drone, demonstrated its success for the third time in penetrating the enemy army’s monitoring and interception systems, providing comprehensive views of the air base.

Hezbollah provided detailed information about Ramat David, focusing on its air specialties and military formations.

Notably, the "Hoopoe" footage revealed the leadership building of the air base and its officials, including the current leader, Colonel Assaf Ished. The video also showed the officers’ residences, the fortified command building, and the command and control center.

Key revelations from the "Hoopoe" scenes included the identification of Iron Dome platform locations within the base, ammunition stores, command centers, squadron garages, processing centers, technical departments, air navigation radar locations, maintenance departments, and fuel capsules.

The video also featured both night and day surveys of the air base, illustrating the extent of Hezbollah's surveillance capabilities.

A Hezbollah source told Al Jazeera on Wednesday, "The resistance was able to mislead the air defenses and monitoring and reconnaissance devices, successfully returning the required images of the air base."

He stressed that "despite the high alert within the Zionist enemy army and its expectation of attacks from Yemen, the resistance was able to send the plane."

The source considered, "This may be the first time in the history of the Zionist entity that the airspace of a Zionist air base has been penetrated."

He pointed out, "After the Zionist aggression on the port of Hodeida, today's message is to emphasize the unity of the fronts in support of the Palestinian people."

The source said, “The timing is linked to Netanyahu’s visit to Washington, which is a clear message.” He explained that “the videotape was filmed entirely yesterday, that is, on the 23rd of this July.”

Among the messages that the party sends through this video, the military and strategic expert, retired Brigadier General Amin Hoteit, said in an interview with the “Lebanon Debate” website that the “Hoopoe 3” plane delivered multi-directional messages. It is an important operation in its timing and nature, and therefore the basic message is to the Zionist entity, which says: "He who threatens to launch military operations and a wide-scale war on Lebanon and bets on the Air Force could have his bases put out of service in the first hours of the confrontation."

The party also wanted this video, according to Hoteit, to send many messages to Netanyahu personally as he was on the cusp of entering the White House to deliver a speech before the US Congress, especially since he wanted to declare victory as promoted in the media. The “Hoopoe 3” message reveals the weakness in the Zionist defense structure, which was unable to intercept a drone and prevent it from carrying out its dangerous operation that targeted a basic military base, the largest base in northern occupied Palestine.

He points out that “the general message from ‘Hoopoe 3’ to all those concerned with what is happening in Palestine confirms Hezbollah's informational capabilities, which can be turned into actionable data and a bank of targets. This strengthens the deterrence environment led by the party to prevent a comprehensive regional war, which the resistance has no interest in launching now, as it would obscure the Palestinian issue and highlight major side issues.”

Among the important, strategic, and unprecedented repercussions of this video, Hoteit says: “The information presented in the videotape is very significant. Experts must note that the issue is not merely photographs and aerial images taken by the plane, but something more dangerous. The resistance has data that transforms these photographs into detailed information in the resistance’s bank of targets. This is very dangerous, especially in terms of the minute details that ‘Hoopoe 3’ revealed about the Zionist military base, Ramat David.”

In this particular intelligence matter, the spokesperson for the Zionist army confirmed the authenticity of the video published by Hezbollah, acknowledging that the drone was used for filming. He also indicated that the army is working to strengthen its air defense system.

Zionist media reacted with anger and astonishment to the army spokesperson’s response, describing it as shameful and unconvincing. They argued that the new footage from Hezbollah demonstrates the weakness of the Zionist entity and constitutes a significant embarrassment.

The media further criticized the response, asking, “How was this drone not intercepted during its flight? What is the excuse this time?” They added, “Over eight minutes of footage from Hezbollah reveals our vulnerability, and this is a disgrace.”

The Zionist media pointed out that "Hezbollah's video is disturbing because it reveals highly sensitive sites in Israel." They criticized the fact that the drone was able to fly over the Ramat David base without any interference and record what it wanted, noting the lack of attempts to intercept the aircraft.

The media concluded, "Hezbollah's video is very dangerous; they are reading us like an open book."

By publishing these scenes, the Lebanese resistance highlights the significant advancements in their intelligence capabilities, showcasing their ability to develop and utilize sophisticated weapons, operations rooms, and electronic warfare equipment. This further confirms Hezbollah’s strategic advantage in the realm of intelligence and deterrence.

In summary, Hezbollah's electronic warfare capabilities have exposed the strategic vulnerabilities of the Zionist enemy army.

The continued escalation of threats and the enhancement of Hezbollah’s capabilities reflect a profound shift in military dynamics. Hezbollah's successes have challenged and overturned traditional military calculations and theories, demonstrating their growing prowess and influence.
