WASHINGTON July 24. 2024 (Saba) - Hundreds of protesters demonstrated inside the US Congress building, demanding an end to the war on Gaza, before a speech by the Prime Minister of the Zionist enemy, Benjamin Netanyahu, before a joint session of the two chambers of the legislative institution.
According to what was reported by the Palestine Today Agency, during the gathering organized by the “Jewish Voice for Peace” coalition, the participants formed circular rings inside the building while wearing red shirts in reference to the extent of the massacres in Gaza Strip.
The protesters raised slogans demanding freedom for Palestine, stopping the war on Gaza, and stopping supplying the occupation with weapons.
Members of Congressional Security intervened to break up the protest gathering, and arrested a number of participants.
