BEIRUT July 23. 2024 (Saba) - The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, led by Hezbollah, has said that it had launched an air attack with a squadron of assault drones on the “Mount Neria” base, a Phalange leadership headquarters currently occupied by forces from the Zionist Golani Brigade.
In a statement, the Islamic Resistance said, “in support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in support of their valiant and honorable resistance, and in response to the attack and assassination carried out by the Zionist enemy in Shaqra town, Mujahedeen of the Islamic Resistance launched an air attack with a squadron of drones.”
The attack on the base of Mount Neria, “a battalion leadership headquarters currently occupied by forces from the Golani Brigade,” targeted the locations of its officers and soldiers, hitting its targets accurately and causing confirmed casualties.
In another statement, the Lebanese Resistance said, “In support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in support of their valiant and honorable resistance, and in response to the enemy’s attacks on steadfast southern villages and safe homes, especially in the Shihin town, the Islamic Resistance Mujahedeen targeted the headquarters of Sahel Battalion in Beit Hilal barracks with Falaq missiles."
