SANA'A July 23. 2024 (Saba) - The Shura Council blessed the announcement by the Leader of the Revolution, Abdul Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, to launch the fifth phase of escalation in the face of arrogance, arrogance and Zionism, American, British in the region.

In its regular meeting held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Council President Mohamed Hussein Al-Aidarous, the Council reiterated the firmness of the Yemeni position in support of the Palestinian cause until victory is achieved, the aggression and siege on the Gaza Strip are stopped, and the Palestinian state is established on all Palestinian territory with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.

The Council condemned the Security Council's policy of double standards, double standards and its condonation of the crimes of genocide, siege and starvation committed by the Zionist entity in Palestine and the flagrant aggression against the governorate of Hodeida.

The meeting, in the presence of the Council's Vice-Presidents Abdo Mohamed Al-Jundi, Mohammed Al-Durra, Dhaif Allah Rassam, and Minister of State for Parliamentary and Shura Council Affairs Dr. Ali Abu Haliqa discussed the report of the Local Authority and Services Committee of the Council on the transport sector, challenge and resilience.

At the meeting, the Speaker of the Shura Council stressed the importance of unifying ranks and supporting the orientations of the state leadership to face the challenges besetting Yemen as a result of its religious, moral and humanitarian stances in support of the Palestinian people.

He reiterated the Shura Council's full support for the choices of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council in confronting the aggression of the evil tripartite "America, Britain and Israel", defending national sovereignty and preserving the dignity of the Yemeni people.

He considered steadfastness in the face of aggression and continued work and construction as a clear message to the world of the ability of the Yemeni people to overcome difficulties and achieve the desired renaissance to create a better future for future generations.

The meeting, which included the Undersecretaries of the Ministry of Transport Abdul Salam Al-Ansi and Mohammed Abu Bakr Ishaq, the Undersecretary of the Civil Aviation Authority Raed Jabal, and the Chairman of the Land Transport Regulatory Authority, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Moayyed, listened to the Chairman of the Local Authority and Services Committee, Abdullah Majidi, the Committee's rapporteur, Salah Al-Dhubaibi, and a number of members of the committee, to a presentation on the topics included in the report related to the transport sector, its impact on the national economy, the difficulties and challenges facing transport and its bodies, and the damage and losses caused to the transport sector as a result of the aggression and blockade.

The report touched on the most important achievements implemented by the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology, the Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation, the General Authority for Maritime Affairs, Hodeidah Branch, and the Land Transport Regulatory Authority.

The report pointed to the most prominent direct and indirect losses suffered by the various transport sectors as a result of the aggression and blockade, estimated at a cost of more than $ 14 billion, in addition to the damage to infrastructure, the suspension of most air, sea and land activities, and the closure of the airspace of the Republic of Yemen by the US-Saudi aggression coalition.

For his part, Minister of State for Parliamentary and Shura Council Affairs Dr. Abu Haliqa confirmed that the implementation of the recommendations made by the Council in the transport report will be followed up after submitting it to the Supreme Political Council and referring it to the government and the concerned authorities, considering that transport is of great importance in achieving national development.

He praised the efforts of the Shura Council in preparing reports and constructive consultations and the important recommendations that help the government develop appropriate solutions and treatments for a number of issues.
