Int'l organization demands Israel be stopped trampling on int'l law

LONDON July 22. 2024 (Saba) - An international organization on Sunday said the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice is a “historic victory for the rights of Palestinians,” demanding that the Zionist enemy not be allowed to “trample on international law anymore.”

According to the Palestinian Information Center, Amnesty International (Amnesty) praised, in a press statement, the opinion of the International Court of Justice, which was issued last Friday, regarding the illegality of the Zionist enemy’s policies and practices in the occupied Palestinian territories.

Amnesty stressed that the Zionist enemy’s authorities rely on the “apartheid” system as a basic foundation for dominating and oppressing the Palestinian people.

She pointed out that the Palestinian people have suffered decades of oppression and systematic human rights violations resulting from the illegal Zionist occupation.

The organization said that the opinion of international justice is clear and unequivocal, and that the occupation authorities’ laws and discriminatory policies against the Palestinian people violate the prohibition imposed on racial discrimination.

Amnesty warned that the opinion of the Court of Justice comes as the Zionist enemy authorities continue to blatantly and catastrophically violate international humanitarian law for nine months, “launching deadly and unlawful attacks in the midst of their attack on the occupied Gaza Strip, which has claimed the lives of an unprecedented number of civilians.”
