GAZA July 22. 2024 (Saba) - Dozens of Palestinian citizens were killed and injured as enemy aircraft and artillery bombed various areas of the Gaza Strip.

The attacks, which focused on the eastern region of Khan Yunis in the south, mark the 290th day of ongoing Zionist aggression.

The Palestinian Wafa News Agency reported that five citizens were martyred and dozens injured due to bombing raids by occupation warplanes on eastern Khan Yunis.

Intense artillery shelling also targeted the area. Ambulance crews recovered a martyr and several wounded from a house bombing in the Sheikh Nasser neighborhood, central Khan Yunis.

A child was martyred following the bombing of her family’s home in Bani Suhaila, with her body transported to Nasser Medical Hospital.

In another incident, ambulance teams recovered a female martyr and injured individuals from the bombing of Jadallah family home, west of Khan Yunis.

The occupation army demolished two residential squares in Tal Al-Sultan and al-Saud neighborhoods, west of Rafah, resulting in thick smoke clouds. Intense drone activity was reported over al-Nuseirat camp in central Gaza.

Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah announced the death of Maryam Mustafa al-Khatib, a child who succumbed to injuries from the Nuseirat camp bombing.

Northern Gaza saw raids near the University College in Tal al-Hawa and east of the city, with one house catching fire, complicating rescue efforts.

Red Crescent paramedics recovered three martyrs and several wounded from a missile strike on an al-Batsh family apartment in al-Tuffah neighborhood, transferring them to Al-Baptist Hospital.

Additionally, a citizen was killed and others injured in an attack near Albin Mosque in al-Zaytoun neighborhood.

Since October 7, 2023, the ongoing aggression has resulted in 38,983 deaths, predominantly women and children, and 89,727 injuries.

Many victims remain trapped under rubble, with rescue crews unable to reach them.
