OCCUPIED QUDS July 16. 2024 (Saba) -Over nine Palestinian prisoners have been experiencing unprecedented reprisal measures in Zionist jails since 7 October 2023, the Palestinian authority for prisoner affairs and prisoner club said on Monday in a common statement based on testimonies and visits paid by advocate to Ofar prison on Sunday.
Before being moved from Sdeah Timan camp to Ofar jail, one of the ill detainees died after repeated appeals for medication, Advocate Mahajina quoted the jailed journalist Mohamed Arab as saying.
"I was inquired about previous visit by the advocate, and was threatened of punishment if any details were told to the advocate," Arab added.
The journalist reported rapes suffered by other unclothed detainees, one of whom was forced to take off all his clothes, and a fire-extinguisher's pipe and materials were pushed into his back.
"Another detainee was fully bared, his ace was hit with electric shocker, and his genitals were pulled," the journalist told the lawyer, noting that other detainees suffered untellable forms of torture.
