JERICHO July 14. 2024 (Saba) - Zionist enemy forces on Sunday demolished two houses in Al-Duyouk Al-Tahta village, west Jericho city.
The Palestinian Wafa Agency reported that the Zionist enemy forces stormed Al-Duyouk Al-Tahta village, demolished two houses - one of which belonged to the Palestinian citizen Abdel Raouf Izriqat and the other belonged to a Palestinian citizen from the Al-Tahhan family - and destroyed a retaining wall.
Since the start of the comprehensive Zionist aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank last October, and in parallel with the unprecedented destruction of homes, buildings and facilities in the Strip, demolitions of Palestinian citizens’ homes have escalated, especially in the area called (C), which constitutes about 60 percent of the area of the West Bank.
Data from the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission show that the Zionist enemy authorities demolished 318 facilities in the West Bank during the first half of 2024, compared to the demolition of 313 facilities during the entire year of 2023, in an indication of an unprecedented escalation of demolitions.
