SANA'A July 14. 2024 (Saba) - Mahdi Al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council met on Sunday with Minister of Public Health and Population in the caretaker government, Dr. Taha Al-Mutawakil.
Al-Mashat and al-Mutawakil discussed the progress of work in the Ministry of Health and its various sectors and the level of implementation of health plans and programmes, aimed at improving the medical and therapeutic services provided to citizens.
They touched on the Ministry’s plans and programs for the year 1446 AH, the procedures to automate its work and projects, and the practical steps to improve the health sector nationwide.
In the meeting, the President stressed the importance of redoubling efforts to improve the level of medical services provided to citizens and alleviate their suffering in light of the difficult circumstances the country is going through.
He pointed to the importance of the digital transformation project for the services of the Supreme Authority for Medicines and Medical Supplies, which was launched recently, to facilitate the services provided to those dealing with the Authority and enhance oversight of the pharmaceutical market.
