New York July 13. 2024 (Saba) -The Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres, said on Friday that the level of killing and massive destruction in the Gaza Strip is unfathomable.

He added that nothing justifies the collective punishment to which Palestinians in Gaza are subjected daily, noting that 195 UNRWA employees were killed in Gaza, which is the highest number of victims in the history of humanitarian relief work.

The Secretary-General of the United Nations explained that there is no alternative to UNRWA, and we are working on all fronts, and it is time to put an end to this terrible war in Gaza.

The United Nations Conference in Support of UNRWA held a minute of silence to mourn the lives of the agency’s employees who were killed in the Gaza Strip.
