SANA'A July 13. 2024 (Saba) - The Ministry of Human Rights strongly condemned the massacres committed by the Zionist enemy by bombing camps for displaced people in the Mawasi Khan Yunis area in the southern Gaza Strip, the industrial area in the Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood, and Gaza neighborhoods, during the past hours, which killed more than 220 martyrs and injured 400 in an infinite toll.
The Ministry of Human Rights indicated in a statement received by Saba that the massacre of the Mawasi area in Khan Yunis, which was classified by the Zionist occupation as safe areas, and called on citizens to move to them, and the continuous massacres in the areas of the Gaza Strip, a continuation of the Zionist genocide against the Palestinian people, and a dangerous escalation in the series of crimes and massacres unprecedented in the history of wars.
It stressed that the US administration is a direct partner in this crime, indicating that the claims of the Zionist enemy entity targeting leaders in an area crowded with more than eighty thousand displaced people, most of them women and children, are false and scandalous that the Zionist entity is keen to repeat to cover up the size of its massacres.
The statement pointed out that these massacres are a clear confirmation by the Zionist entity, on its continuation of the war of extermination against the Palestinian people, through the repeated and systematic targeting of civilians in tents, displacement centers and residential neighborhoods, and the commission of the most heinous crimes against them, without caring about calls to stop targeting civilians or paying attention to any of the laws of war that impose their protection.
The statement also stressed that this disregard for international law and treaties, and the widespread violations against unarmed civilians, would not have continued, without the support provided by the US administration to the usurping entity and its terrorist army, by covering its crimes, providing it with all means of political and military support, and paralyzing the hand of international justice from playing its role towards these crimes, which makes it fully accomplicit in them.
The Ministry of Human Rights held America and Western countries that still support the Zionist entity fully responsible for the continuation of these massacres and crimes, stressing that without the absolute and unlimited support of the US administration and the West, the entity would not have continued to commit massacres and violations.
It denounced the continued official Arab complicity with the criminal terrorism of the enemy in Palestine in various forms in the killing and extermination of civilians and depriving them of food and medical aid.
The Ministry of Human Rights renewed the call on the international community to take immediate measures to ensure the protection of civilians in the Gaza Strip, and to impose an immediate ceasefire in the Strip, calling on the free world to press for an end to the war of genocide in Palestine, and to hold accountable the perpetrators of war crimes, crimes against humanity and the crime of genocide.
