SANA'A July 13. 2024 (Saba) - The caretaker Prime Minister, Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor, met on Sarurday the Minister of Technical and Vocational Education, Ghazi Ahmed Ali Mohsen, and the Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation, Engineer Abdulmalik Al-Thawr.
During the meeting, the conditions of the two ministries , the most prominent projects and activities implemented in the context of implementing the plans of the Ministries of Technical Education and the Ministries of Agriculture and Irrigation for the past year 1445 AH were reviewed, in addition to the most prominent contents of their plan for the current year 1446 AH.
Minister Ghazi reviewed what was accomplished by Technical Education Ministry last year, specifically what is related to the national vision projects related to the Ministry and its affiliated units.
In turn, the caretaker Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation presented to Dr. Bin Habtoor a report on the ministry’s activity related to the Cabinet’s work plan for the years 2019-2024 AD, which included the most important activities implemented in the areas of veterinary services, improved fruits, programs for multiplying seeds , grains of all kinds, following up on agricultural seasons, afforestation, and cash crops of coffee and honey. .
Dr. Bin Habtoor praised the effort made by the technical education and vocational training sector in implementing last year’s plan and what was accomplished by its affiliated educational institutions within the framework of the national vision projects , diversifying its outputs from qualified and distinguished cadres to meet the needs of the labor market.
He praised the report of the Minister of Agriculture, Engineer Al-Thawr, and the data it included about the achievements achieved in the agriculture and irrigation sector. He pointed out that the qualitative achievements included in the report, given the nature of the challenges imposed by the American-Saudi-Emirati aggression and blockade, fall within the achievements of the caretaker government.
