SANA'A July 13. 2024 (Saba) - The Ministry of Oil and Minerals, led by Minister Ahmed Daris and Minister of Legal Affairs Dr. Ismail al-Mahaqri, on Saturday inaugurated a comprehensive training program aimed at enhancing the legal skills of 27 staff members from the Ministry of Oil and its associated units.
Organized by the Legal Training Center at the Ministry of Legal Affairs, the three-week program focuses on strengthening competencies in drafting laws, contracts, and courtroom advocacy. During the launch, attended by Deputy Minister of Oil Yasser al-Wahidi, Minister Daris underscored the program's importance in advancing regulatory frameworks crucial for Yemen's oil and mineral sectors.
Emphasizing the pivotal role of legal professionals in achieving departmental objectives, Minister Daris encouraged participants to maximize their learning to elevate ministry performance.
He also commended the collaborative efforts between the Ministries of Legal Affairs and Oil in pursuit of shared goals.
Dr. al-Mahaqri highlighted the program's alignment with national legal reform initiatives, addressing the critical need for proficient legal personnel to safeguard state interests.
