SANA'A July 13. 2024 (Saba) - The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning expects variable and scattered rain to fall over several Provinces, high-speed winds on the eastern , southern coasts , Socotra, hot to very hot weather in the deserts and coastal areas during the next 24 hours.
The center stated in its weather bulletin, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that rains of varying intensity are expected, accompanied by thunder and sometimes hailstones, in separate areas of Sa'ada, Amran, East Hajjah, Al Mahwit, West Dhamar, Raymah, Ibb, and Al Dhale' ,Taiz, the highlands of Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramaut, and Al-Mahra provinces.
Scattered rain fell on areas of Aden, Abyan, Shabwa, and Hadramaut that were outside the range of monitoring stations.
The center warned citizens against being present or blocking the paths of floods, thunderstorms, sea turbulence, high waves around the Socotra Archipelago, the eastern Gulf of Aden, the eastern and southern coasts.
It advised citizens in deserts, inland plateaus, plains and coasts not to be directly exposed to the sun's rays during the afternoon.
