SANA'A, July 13, 2024 (Sheba) - Caretaker Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor on Saturday inaugurated the new academic year 1446 AH - 2024/2025 AD across the capital Sana'a and provinces, underscoring the resilience of Yemen's education sector.
Accompanied by key officials including Minister of State Dr. Hamid Al-Mazjaji and Deputy Minister of Education Khaled Jahader, Dr. Bin Habtoor visited Qutaiba Bin Muslim Schools for male students and July 17 for female students in Shu’ub district.
He commended the dedication of teachers and school administrators, emphasizing the importance of educational continuity despite obstacles posed by American, British, and Zionist aggression.
Addressing the media, the Prime Minister expressed satisfaction with the discipline observed among students and staff on the first day of classes, praising the Ministry of Education's leadership and the local authorities for their commitment to advancing the education sector.
Dr. Bin Habtoor expressed optimism for a successful academic year ahead, echoing sentiments for the educational process to reflect the steadfastness of the Yemeni people in the face of adversity.
Meanwhile, Deputy Minister Jahader reaffirmed the ministry's determination to overcome challenges imposed by external forces, highlighting community resilience and the ongoing support for educators and students alike.
