DHALE' July 13. 2024 (Saba) - Minister of Justice Judge Nabil al-Azzani, accompanied by Acting Governor Abdullatif al-Shaghdari, on Saturday conducted an inspection of the courts of first instance in Damt and Juban districts in Dhale' province, following a period of judicial recess.
Judge Al-Azzani, along with Judge Ibrahim al-Dhurafi from the Court of Appeals of Dhamar and Dhalea provinces, and Brig. Gen. Hussein al-Hamzi, Director of Dhale' Security, received updates on the regularity of judicial proceedings, litigation processes, and adherence to directives issued by the Supreme Judicial Council. These directives aim to streamline litigation, expedite case completions, and uphold justice and rights within society.
During discussions with the heads of the courts of first instance in Juban and Damt, Judge Jiab Al-Haddi and Judge Jaber al-Hadrami respectively, they reviewed the discipline and efficiency in caseadjudications, as well as the coordination among courts, prosecution offices, security services, and local authorities in implementing judicial decisions. The officials also discussed the procedures for closing judicial records at the end of the judicial year and highlighted the challenges faced in conducting judicial proceedings.
Minister Al-Azzani emphasized that the visit was part of the Ministry of Justice’s initiative to assess the conditions and performance of courts and prosecution offices nationwide at the start of the new judicial year. He underscored the judiciary's commitment to enhancing the capabilities of administrative personnel and judges alike, urging increased efforts to uphold justice and moral responsibility within society.
Judge Al-Azzani praised the collaborative efforts of local authorities and security services in supporting the judiciary's role in administering justice. He stressed the importance of regular meetings among local, security, and judicial authorities to address societal issues effectively.
