BAGHDAD July 11. 2024 (Saba) - Representative of the Al-Sadiqoun Iraqi parliamentary bloc, Hassan Salem, on Thursday renewed his demand for the removal of American forces from Iraq, stressing that the Iraqi people cannot be satisfied with the continuation of the occupation and its continued presence.
“The American occupation is committing more crimes inside Iraq, sometimes by targeting the headquarters of the Popular Mobilization Forces and at other times by supporting the Zionist entity with internationally prohibited weapons to kill the children of Gaza,” Salem said in a statement reported by the Iraqi “Al-Ma’louma” Agency.
"The Iraqi people will not accept the American occupation remaining perched on the homeland's soil," noting that "the American occupation was not satisfied with killing the Iraqi people in addition to giving the green light to the Zionist entity to annihilate the people of Gaza," he added:
"America always uses self-defense as an excuse, and international law does not allow people to defend themselves," he continued, saying.
