PARIS July 08. 2024 (Saba) -The French prime minister late on Sunday announced his intention to submit his resignation on Monday to President Macron, after his party lost majority in the legislative elections.

If the resignation is rejected, the PM is willing to stay in office as long as duty requires, Gabriele Atal added, with Paris preparing for Olympiad within three weeks, according to Ma'an news agency.
