SANA'A July 08. 2024 (Saba) - The Faculties of Engineering and Computers at the University of Science and Technology in Sanaa organized a solidarity stand today in support of the Palestinian people, themed "With Gaza... steadfast support and jihad."
Faculty members, academics, and administrators gathered to raise Yemeni and Palestinian flags, denounce American and Zionist actions, and express solidarity with Palestinians facing ongoing aggression.
They condemned recent genocidal attacks supported by Western powers, honoring Palestinian resilience and the heroic efforts of mujahideen/ fighters.
The statement highlighted ongoing military operations and called for sustained Arab and Islamic support, including economic boycotts against Israel and its allies.
The stand emphasized solidarity with Hezbollah, Iraqi Islamic Resistance, and joint Yemeni-Iraqi operations, affirming Yemen's right to defend against regional aggression and Saudi-backed actions detrimental to national interests and Palestinian rights.
