DOHA July 07. 2024 (Saba) -Chief of Hamas Information Office, Ezzat al-Rasheq, on Sunday valued an explanation made by Dr. Mustafa al-Barghowthi on Italy forum, and deplored attempted assassinations and incitements against Barghowthi.
According to the Palestinian Information Office, Rasheq denied claims that Hamas issued a statement attacking the Secretary-General of the Palestinian National Initiative Movement, noting that "Dr. Barghowthi is targeted by the same suspicious bodies that target the resistance."
The circulated statement is false and was not issued by Hamas, he added, appreciating the "national stance adopted by Dr. Barghowthi.. against the Zionist envision."
Earlier, Dr. Barghowthi vowed to encounter all forms of normalization, noting that "our position didn't and won't change despite incitement."
