OCCUPIED AL-QUDS July 07. 2024 (Saba) - Former head of the operations division of the Zionist enemy Army Reserve Maj. Gen. Yisrael ze'ev has warned against further involvement in Rafah, while launching an attack on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Zeev said in statements to Zionist websites last night that staying in Rafah means occupying the Gaza Strip. He warned against opening multiple war fronts, because this timing is the worst for"Israel".
"Fighting a war with Lebanon will lead to a confrontation with Iran, and increasing military action in the North is the wrong tactic, unless we want to fight a war,"he added.
He attacked Netanyahu.. "He destroyed Washington's efforts on the decisions of the International Court of justice and the Security Council against Israel, "he said.
This is not the first time that Ze'ev has warned of involvement in Gaza and the damage that will be inflicted on the occupation army as a result of the ground aggression it is waging in the Strip.
Months ago, he said, "Israel has sunk into tactical military considerations in the Gaza Strip, without any strategic vision, unlike Hamas, which owns this vision, and has moved from the stage of direct military clash to a guerrilla war that damages the Zionist army.
Zeev, who led the Gaza Division during the Second Intifada, said that Hamas "is no longer looking for victory in a direct clash, but what it means now is guerrilla warfare, while Israel is immersed in tactical combat considerations, acting as if it owns all the time and does not feel the influence of other factors on time".
He pointed out that Hamas, unlike the occupation army, modified its method of fighting as a change in its strategy, and generally fights a complex battle, saying that guerrilla warfare, including the tactics of explosive traps, which have become similar to the guerrilla war that Hezbollah was waging, suits the movement and inflicts losses on"Israel" because its army in its current form is not designed to remain its teams in every spot of Gaza.
He previously saw that the occupation entity is losing valuable time and that Sinwar is aware of the international pressure on Israel, and knows that its balance is eroding and that American patience will end and therefore does not want to "engage with it in something that strengthens it" and is resisting pressure for that.
