SANA'A July 06. 2024 (Saba) - Two cultural events were held in the districts of Maeen and al-Safia in the capital Sana'a. The events marked the anniversary of the Prophet’s migration under the theme ‘The Word of God is Supreme.’
Assistant Undersecretary of the Capital Sami Sharaf El-Din and Director of the Culture Office Abdullah al-Muafa attended. They focused on lessons from this religious milestone, its transformative impact on Islam, and the profound significance of the migration.
Discussions centered on the divine message’s objectives. They also covered the challenges faced by the people of Mecca, logistics of the Prophet’s journey, lessons learned, post-migration actions, characteristics of the Ansar community, and Yemen’s role in supporting the Muhammadiyah message against polytheism and misguidance.
Qais al-Tal from the Guidance Office and cultural activist Ahmed al-Mahdi highlighted the migration’s motives. They emphasized it as a pivotal event marking the start of each Hijri year and its methodological implications for understanding history and religious occasions.
Speakers underscored the occasion’s greatness and enduring values in the hearts of believers. They also stressed the importance of commemorating it and drawing valuable insights for contemporary times.
