MUSCAT July 06. 2024 (Saba) -The head of the National Committee for Prisoners, Abdul Qadir Al-Murtada, announced the completion of the round of negotiations on the prisoners' file in the Omani capital Muscat under the auspices of the United Nations.
"We completed on Saturday in the Omani capital Muscat the round of negotiations on the prisoners' file under the auspices of the United Nations, in which some points were agreed, the most important of which is solving the problem on the Qahtan Mohamed, as well as exchanging some of the prisoners' lists," al-Murtada said in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba).
He pointed out that due to the lack of time, it was agreed to resume negotiations after two months, with the two parties focusing their attention during this period on completing the submission and approval of the statements until the next round.
Al-Murtada expressed thanks and appreciation to the brothers in the Sultanate of Oman for hosting this tour, and to everyone who facilitated and facilitated its convening, asking "Allah success, aid and urgent relief to our prisoners."
