GAZA July 05. 2024 (Saba) - A significant number of Palestinian civilians were killed and injured in airstrikes and artillery bombardments carried out by Israeli forces across various areas of the Gaza Strip, marking the 273rd day of ongoing aggression against the region.
Emergency response teams recovered the bodies of four individuals killed and attended to numerous injuries resulting from Israeli airstrikes on a residence belonging to Bardawil family in Gaza City's al-Daraj neighborhood. The casualties were swiftly transferred to al-Ahli al-Arabi Hospital "al-Mamadani" for treatment.
In another incident, Israeli artillery targeted eastern sections of the al-Shuja'iya neighborhood, resulting in the destruction of several residential buildings amidst intense gunfire from occupation forces.
Further casualties were reported in Jabalia, where airstrikes claimed the lives of Bassam Khader, his wife, and three children in their home on Old Gaza Street. Emergency responders conveyed their bodies to Martyr Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society confirmed additional casualties from drone strikes on al-Sika Street in Jabalia, transporting one deceased individual and three wounded to Martyr Kamal Adwan Hospital.
Elsewhere in Rafah, emergency crews retrieved the body of a martyr near Tahrir station on Salah al-Din Street, later transferring them to Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis.
Israeli artillery attacks continued in Rafah's al-Nasr area, coinciding with ground incursions into areas like "Abu Halawa" and "Abu Al-Hussein," exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in these regions.
In Bani Suhaila, Khan Yunis, Adly Radwan lost his life and his wife sustained injuries in an Israeli airstrike targeting their family home, prompting their transfer to Nasser Medical Complex.
The night saw Israeli flares over southeastern Khan Yunis and airstrikes on an unoccupied house in Abasan al-Kabira town, east of the city.
Artillery shelling also targeted northwest of al-Nuseirat refugee camp and northern al-Zahraa city in central Gaza.
Since the onset of Israeli aggression on October 7th, the death toll in Gaza has risen to 38,011, with a majority being children and women. The number of injuries stands at 87,445, underscoring the relentless toll on civilians, many of whom remain trapped under rubble as rescue efforts struggle to reach them.
