RAMALLAH July 4. 2024 (Saba) - The Prisoners' and Ex-Prisoners' Affairs Authority and the Prisoners' Club on Thursday said the total number of arrests among Palestinians since the start of the Zionist-American aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7th has risen to 9,520 detainees.
This toll includes those who were arrested from homes, through military checkpoints, those who were forced to surrender themselves under pressure, and those who were held hostage, the authority and the club added in a joint statement.
The statement pointed out that the enemy arrested at least ten citizens from the West Bank, including a woman from Tulkarm, and former detainees, from yesterday evening until this morning.
The arrests were distributed among the governorates of Ramallah, Hebron, Tulkarm, and Qalqilia, and were accompanied by attacks against detainees and their families, in addition to widespread sabotage and destruction of citizens’ homes.
