ASATANA July 03. 2024 (Saba) -The Russian president on Wednesday arrived in the Kazakhstani capital to take part in Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit hosted by Astana on 3 and 4 July, the Kremlin said in a statement carried by Sputnik.

President Vladimir Putin will also hold mutual meetings with officials on the sidelines of the summit that would help "enhance multiparty dialogue, and seek to realize peace and sustainable development."

The summit's participants are expected to ink a package of 24 join documents and adopt a closing declaration confirming their commitment to good neighborhood principles and unity.
