WASHINGTON July 01. 2024 (Saba) -Senior Democrats have ruled out potential replacement of President Joe Biden as a candidate for the party after his weak performance at a debate, and called on other Democrats to focus, instead, on complications of Donald Trump's potential win in upcoming presidential elections.
After days-long worries about Biden's condition and the elections' results, Democrat leaders refused to decide about calls on their party to choose a younger candidate, as the 81-year-old man and his family members are likely discussing his political future in Camp David presidential resort.
A survey, carried out by SBS network after the debate, showed a leap in the number of Democrats who think that Biden should not run the next elections, with an increase from 36 in February to 46 percent now.
