TEHRAN June 28. 2024 (Saba) - The Secretary of the Iranian Election Commission and its spokesman, Mohsen Islami, confirmed the continuation of voting operations in the presidential elections within electoral districts abroad, noting that the process has not yet been completed in any district around the world.
Islami explained, according to the Iranian news agency IRNA, that the 14th presidential elections began at 08:00 in the morning, with the names and numbers of the candidates distributed throughout Iran in alphabetical order.
He pointed out that the number of polling centers inside Iran reached 58,640, allowing those born in June 2006 and later to participate in the elections.
IRNA news agency reported that Iranian missions, including embassies and consulates, began performing their duties to carry out voting operations and receive Iranian voters in various countries, as the number of external polling centers reached 345 centers in more than 95 countries.
