SANA'A June 25. 2024 (Saba) - The Ministry of Human Rights called for an effective international position to stop the systematic US-Zionist war of extermination and starvation against the Palestinian people in Gaza.
In a statement received by Saba, the ministry called for urgent international action to ensure that humanitarian operations in the Gaza Strip are fully facilitated, and that obstacles and restrictions to humanitarian supplies through crossings and land roads be removed immediately.
It urged the Arab and Islamic peoples, and the free people of the world, to intensify the movement at all levels, and to pressure the American administration and the Zionist occupation to stop the aggression and uprising for the sake of humanity and the Palestinian people, who are subjected to genocide.
The statement of the Ministry of Human Rights also called on the international community and the United Nations to assume their responsibilities and international legal obligations to stop the crime of genocide and starvation and to act urgently to protect civilians and hold the terrorist leaders of the occupation accountable for their crimes.
"In a daily and continuous scene that does not stop even for one hour, the Zionist enemy, with American support, continues to target civilians and commit the most heinous massacres against them, doubling the number of martyrs and wounded, which exceeded 130,000 since the beginning of the aggression on Gaza," the statement said.
It pointed out that the crimes of mass killings with aircraft and internationally prohibited types of weapons coincided with the continuous quest to exterminate nearly one and a half million civilians in Gaza by practicing the policy of starvation implemented by the American-Zionist enemy against women, children and civilians.
The Ministry of Human Rights denounced the total destruction of agricultural lands, bird and livestock farms, preventing UNRWA from delivering aid and targeting aid providers, which represents a new confirmation that the Zionist entity and the US administration continue to completely exterminate the people of Gaza and destroy all the necessities of life in the Strip.
It denounced the Zionist entity and the United States ignoring international demands to stop the aggression in flagrant defiance of international laws, norms and human values, despite repeated calls from international organizations and escalating warnings of genocide as a result of food insecurity in Gaza.
"Despite the fact that everything the Zionist entity does with the support of America in Gaza meets the description of 'genocide' by all international legal standards, many Western regimes still market these acts as 'self-defense,' and the official Arab position remains shameful and humiliating," the statement added.
The Ministry of Human Rights confirmed that the floating dock off the coast of the Gaza Strip is nothing but a joint Zionist-American security and military base and a springboard for carrying out war crimes against civilians in Gaza.
It stated that the fierce war would not have continued or taken place without the support, approval and participation of America, the weakness of the international position, Western complicity, and Arab failure at all levels. She stressed that all Zionist-American criminal policies will not succeed in subjugating the Palestinian people, but rather increase their determination to defeat the occupation and punish it for its crimes and Nazism.
