SANA'A June 25. 2024 (Saba) - Mohammed al-Mutahhar, Minister of Industry and Trade in the caretaker government, met with Abdullah Haider, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Civil Service and Insurance for the Monitoring and Evaluation Sector, to assess job discipline within the ministry following Eid Al-Adha.
Al-Mutahar and Haider discussed ongoing efforts to maintain market stability during the holiday period, alongside daily activities aimed at regulating supply, prices, and safeguarding consumer interests.
Minister al-Mutahhar commended the Ministry's electronic portal for its efficient transaction processing and highlighted significant achievements in this area, underscoring the broader efforts across various sectors.
He emphasized the Ministry's commitment to facilitating and promoting industrial and commercial activities to bolster the national economy.
In response, Undersecretary Abdullah Haider praised the ministry's leadership and staff for their exemplary job discipline, recognizing their dedication to enhancing administrative efficiency, improving service delivery to the private sector and citizens, and advancing consumer protection initiatives.
He expressed admiration for the Ministry's rapid service delivery and transaction processing capabilities through its electronic portal, catering efficiently to the needs of the private sector and entrepreneurs.
