SANA'A June 23. 2024 (Saba) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its astonishment at the United States of America's continued falsification of facts , its distance from the credibility and transparency it boasts of.
The Ministry said in a statement, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), “The statements of the US State Department and senior American officials regarding the reality of the deteriorating situation in the Middle East, the war crimes and genocide practiced by the Zionist enemy against the Palestinians in Gaza Strip, with American support, are politically impudent.” Militarily, financially, and logistically, it is nothing but a blatant example of a policy of double standards and a state of schizophrenia experienced by American officials loyal to the usurping enemy entity.”
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the United States to stop its interference in the internal affairs of countries, explaining that the arrest operations carried out by the competent Yemeni authorities are based on the principle of the state exercising its powers in accordance with the Yemeni constitution and laws in defending the interests of the state.
The Ministry concluded its statement by calling on the United Nations General Assembly to discuss the politicization of humanitarian aid provided by some countries with the intention of interfering in the internal affairs of countries receiving aid, to set standards for providing grants and humanitarian aid in a transparent and clear manner.
