SANA'A June 16. 2024 (Saba) - His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Head of the Supreme Political Council, performed the blessed Eid Al-Adha prayer this morning with the crowds of worshipers at the Mosque of the late Mohsen Abu Nashtan in Arhab District, Sana’a Province.
After that, President Al-Mashat, accompanied by the Chief of the General Staff, Major General Mohamed Abdel Karim Al-Ghamari, and the Commander of the Fifth Military Region, Major General Youssef Al-Madani, received citizens, notables, sheikhs, and social figures from the Arhab Directorate, who offered Eid congratulations to His Excellency, wishing him good health and continued well-being on the solemn religious occasion.
President Al-Mashat exchanged Eid greetings with them, expressing his pride in the strong feelings of all the people of Yemen on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha, wishing God Almighty to return this occasion to the Yemeni people and to achieve the development, victory and empowerment they aspire to.
In addition, the President visited the late Sheikh Mohsen Abu Nashtan Scientific and Educational Center, and was informed of the destruction caused by the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression warplane as a result of targeting the center and its facilities with more than 55 airstrikes that turned it into rubble.
He also reviewed the scientific , educational path at the center, and its inclusion of science students from various provinces of the Republic, to enlighten them with the religious message and enlighten them with the legal sciences in accordance with the right approach, as a scientific, cultural , educational source and a torch of guidance for generations.
President Al-Mashat heard from those in charge of the center about its scientific and cultural activities.
His Excellency the President and his companions also visited the Kindergarten of the Directorate’s Martyrs, and recited Al-Fatihah and Surat Al-Ikhlas, out of mercy for their souls and for all the martyrs of the nation who wrote heroic epics in defense of Yemen, its sovereignty, independence, security , stability, and confronting the forces of American-Saudi-Emirati aggression.
