TAIZ June 15. 2024 (Saba) - The deputy governor of Taiz governorate, Engineer Taha Al-Buraihi, confirmed that the reason for the accumulation of cars on the Al-Qasr-Al-Kamb tour road, in the center of Taiz city, is due to the narrowness of the line within the control of the other party in addition to the slow inspection.
Al-Buraihi explained, in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that the decision of the other party to close the road, at six in the evening of each day, is one of the reasons that lead to the accumulation of cars, and severe congestion at the entrance.
"We are ready to open the line 24 hours a day to alleviate the suffering of travelers and alleviate the congestion of the Qasr - Al Kamp tour road," he said.
Security and military measures in the east of Taiz city, which is under the control of the Supreme Political Council, are proceeding smoothly, he said, and there is no delay for the people. He pointed to the efforts made, which resulted in the reopening of the main road (Al-Hawban - Qasr Al-Shaab - Al-Kamb) by the local authority, and the measures taken to ensure the safe passage of citizens.
Al-Buraihi added that "the acting governor of the province announced the readiness of the fifty-line - the city of light Bir Pasha on our side, and that the other side must quickly respond, and remove barriers from their side; to alleviate the suffering of travelers, and open the road 24 hours a day."
