SANA'A June 09. 2024 (Saba) - The Ministry of Fisheries organized a training workshop on the guide for developing services and simplifying procedures in the Ministry’s General Office , its affiliated sectors and bodies.
The workshop aimed to provide members of the Services Development and Procedures Simplification Team with the necessary knowledge to improve and simplify procedures within the national vision for building a modern state , implementing the code of professional conduct , work ethics, in a way that contributes to developing the fish sector’s work mechanisms to enhance the services provided to fishermen and society.
The Assistant Undersecretary for the Investment and Research Sector, Shaif Al-Faqih, stressed the importance of all state cadres and employees being an integral part of the institutional development and building process.
He called on the participants to interact with the workshop’s themes to come up with visions and action programs that lead to improving work and the level of services so that citizens can see the fruits of those efforts in practice.
For their part, the head of the ministry’s service guide development team, Khaled Al-Banna, and a member of the training and teaching staff at the National Institute of Administrative Sciences, Abdul Hakim Sufyan, confirmed that simple procedures play a vital role in improving the efficiency , effectiveness of the ministry and the level of performance of its work, by achieving multiple benefits for it and for the public of beneficiaries.
They pointed out the importance of unifying clerical work in offices and reducing their expenses by adopting unified procedures, noting the importance of applying simple procedures in business , taking into account the mechanism and smoothness of their implementation when preparing the guide.
