HODEIDA June 09. 2024 (Saba) - The Head of the Board of Directors of Red Sea Ports Corporation ,Zaid Al-Washli, the Board of Directors of the Red Sea Ports Corporation in its meeting today , Sunday, discussed the Corporation’s performance level and the estimated budget for the year 2024.
The meeting reviewed the level of evaluation of the financial position for the fourth quarter of last year 2023, and the balance sheet for the fiscal year 2020 approved by the Central Organization for Control and Accounting.
The Head of the Corporation's Board of Directors stressed the importance of translating the leadership's directives in coordination with the Ministries of Transport and Finance, especially with regard to providing emergency needs for the Corporation's ports.
He pointed to the Corporation's activities and achievements during the current year, the services and facilities it provided to importers through the ports of Hodeida, Saleef, and Marsa Ras Issa, and the difficulties facing the Corporation.
The training and qualification needs of the organization’s cadres in the technical, professional and administrative fields were also discussed.
After that, the members of the Board of Directors reviewed the maintenance work at the marine buoy slide and a number of maintenance hangars, heard from specialists a detailed explanation of the overall work carried out by technicians , engineers to maintain the institution’s machinery and equipment.
