MOSCOW June 09. 2024 (Saba) - The Russian Defense Ministry on Sunday claimed responsibility for downing an Ukrainian drone over the Bryansk province, southwest Russia.

The Russian news agency "Novosti" quoted the ministry as saying in a statement: "Last night, the Kiev regime's attempt to launch a terrorist attack using a drone on targets in Russian territory was thwarted. The air defense on duty shot down one drone over the Bryansk region."

The Russian Defense Ministry on Saturday said air defenses shot down during night 25 Ukrainian drones over the Belgorod, Rostov, Tula, Bryansk, Astrakhan, Crimea and Krasnodar Territory regions.
