MOSCOW May 31. 2024 (Saba) - Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stressed that NATO countries have never limited the use of their weapons to strike Russian territory.
Zakharova said on her Telegram channel on Friday: "Britain has provided Storm Shadow missiles for a long time without any restrictions, and what Russia has been talking about all the time is that NATO is lying and firing a smokescreen, and making up a story that is supposedly undecided yet, which is whether or not to allow the Kiev regime to launch strikes using Western weapons against Russian territory."
"In the same way, the West misleads those it tries to drag to the conference in Switzerland, tells tales of a focus on peace settlement, and practices classical NATO-style manipulation."
The spokesman for the US Department of War announced that the administration of US President Joe Biden allowed the Ukrainian regime to carry out strikes with US weapons on Russian territory from the Kharkov province, but he added: The US position on banning the use of tactical ballistic missiles of the "Atakams" model or long-range weapons inside Russia has not changed.
