Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at the annual meeting of the Council for Foreign and Defense Policy that the West is hesitant about promoting multipolarity.
The Russian news agency TASS quoted Lavrov as saying: "The Global South and the Global East see multipolarity as an opportunity to enhance their sovereign development without the spread of neocolonialism by the West in recent years."
