SANA'A May 25. 2024 (Saba) - A meeting in Sana'a, chaired by the Deputy Minister of Oil and Minerals - Acting Executive Director of the Yemeni Gas Company, Yasser Al-Wahidi, discussed the mechanism , procedures for installing tracking systems , technical devices for the purpose of monitoring all means of transporting gas , enhancing the stability of supplies with this substance and providing it to citizens.
The meeting, which included representatives of the private sector and a number of specialists in the Yemeni Gas Company, touched on the importance of installing tracking devices on various means of transporting gas, whether large trailers with large loads that carry gas from Ras Issa facility to various provinces, or via medium means of transport “bobtails” and debts, as well as sales agent exhibitions, in addition to gas tanks, the importance of this measure in stabilizing supply stability and enhancing control.
In the meeting, Al-Wahidi stressed the importance of this mechanism related to the installation of tracking devices, which comes within the executive programs of the Yemeni Gas Company and within the framework of the directives of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council to stabilize the gas supply situation and provide it to citizens to alleviate their suffering.
He stressed the need to join efforts and assume full responsibility in a way that contributes to enhancing the stability of gas supplies and preserving the stock of this substance.
