AL-MAHWIT May 14. 2024 (Saba) - The Undersecretary of Al-Mahwit Governorate, Abdul Salam Al-Dhamari, and the head of the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit in the governorate, Engineer Mukhtar Al-Turki, inspected today a number of community initiatives projects in the governorate.
Al-Dhamari and Al-Turki, along with the Director of Al-Rajm District, Khaled Al-Nasser, were briefed on the work to complete the construction of three classrooms, a second floor, at Al-Najah School in Al-Manara, Bani Musab district, in Al-Rajm District, at a cost of 12 million riyals, with a community initiative and support from the Central Interventions Unit.
The governorate's deputy and head of the unit also inspected the initiative to build the western side of the first floor of Al-Rajm Rural Hospital with 15 rooms at a cost of 42 million and 343 thousand riyals. The unit contributed 21 percent of cement and iron, at a cost of eight million and 965 thousand riyals, with a percentage of 79 percent for the hospital management.
Undersecretary Al-Dhamari and Al-Turki stressed the importance of the two projects in supporting and providing education requirements, improving its quality, and expanding medical services for citizens.
He pointed out the keenness of the governorate leadership to work on rehabilitating and renovating schools, completing their equipment, and expanding health and educational projects.
