SANA'A May 13. 2024 (Saba) - Minister of Fisheries Mohammed al-Zubairi and Undersecretary Abdulghani al-Wali on Monday assessed the summer session's progress at the Model Martyr Leader Center in al-Tahrir district in the capital Sana'a.
Al-Zubairi and al-Wali highlighted the significance of these sessions in safeguarding youth against negative influences and the perils of cultural distortion, while also providing them with valuable education and knowledge.
Commending the efforts of those overseeing the summer courses, both officials urged for continued attention and support to the enrolled students.
They emphasized the importance of utilizing this time effectively to enhance various skills and knowledge areas, including the memorization of the Holy Qur’an and its associated sciences, as well as other academic, cultural, sporting, and vocational pursuits.
This holistic approach aims to empower youth with a diverse range of capabilities to contribute positively to their communities, they said.
Al-Zubairi and al-Wali confirmed that the visits come to review the activities and programs of the summer courses and to closely monitor the level of useful science presented in them for generations and society.
They pointed out that today's generation is the hope of the nation in which the people of Yemen have carried the banner of Islam since ancient times, and have contributed to supporting the religion and spreading it throughout the globe with unparalleled steadfastness and perseverance.
