SANA'A May 09. 2024 (Saba) - The Free Seats Committee at the Higher Education and Scientific Research Ministry announced the extension of the registration period for differentiation , competition for free seats in public and private universities until Wednesday, Dhul-Qi’dah 14, 1445 AH, corresponding to next May 22, as the last date for applying through the electronic portal.
The committee explained in a statement, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that the extension comes out of the committee’s keenness to provide the opportunity for students who were unable to register in the electronic portal for free seats.
The committee called on male and female students wishing to compete for free seats for the academic year - 1446 AH, to quickly register properly within the specified period, obtain, as the last step in registration, the portfolio number, pay the fees to the committee’s account in CAC Bank, and keep the original payment voucher in order to take the proficiency exams that will be held. The date will be announced later.
