MAHWIT May 06. 2024 (Saba) - A meeting in Al Mahwit City Directorate, headed by the province Undersecretary for Development Affairs, Muhammad Al-Nuwaira, discussed today,Monday, the mechanism for announcing the establishment of the Multi-Purpose Charitable Agricultural Society and activating development work in the Directorate and community initiatives.
The meeting touched on ways to activate the performance of the agricultural sector to achieve self-sufficiency within the framework of the national vision for building the modern Yemeni state.
At the meeting, Al-Nuwaira stressed to me the importance of implementing the directives of the Revolution Leader to pay attention to the agricultural sector, pointing to the role that associations and cooperatives play in achieving a development and agricultural renaissance to achieve food security.
While the Director of the City Directorate, Mohsen Al-Saqqaf, reviewed the mechanism for announcing the agricultural association and the role of the local authority in making this project a success in coordination with the relevant authorities, stressing the province leadership’s keenness to cooperate to overcome the work and activities of these associations and the role of society in adopting support for such associations to confront the challenges of aggression and siege.
A call for concerted efforts to quickly establish and announce the association at the level of Al Mahwit province.
