IBB May 06. 2024 (Saba) - Ibb Governor Abdul Wahed Salah honored today, Monday, international campaign leadership to break the siege of Sana’a International Airport with the province’s shield and certificates of appreciation.
The honor included the head of the campaign, Hamid Antar, the deputy head of the campaign, Abdul Rahman Al-Houthi, and the director general of Sana’a International Airport - head of the field team, Khaled Al-Shayef.
Governor Salah indicated that the honor comes in appreciation of the role and efforts made by the campaign leadership by conveying the injustice of the Yemeni people to international forums and demanding lifting siege on the airport.
He noted the campaign's role in exposing the restrictions imposed by the American-Saudi-Emirati aggression on the Yemeni people through its continued closure of sea and air ports, using methods of shading and deceiving the world.
The Governor of Ibb stressed the importance of the campaign in informing reality world of the Yemenis' suffering as a result of the closure of the airport and conveying the oppression of Yemen to the world.
