NEW YORK May 05. 2024 (Saba) - The authorities of the Zionist enemy prevented the Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, from entering the Gaza Strip, for the second time since the start of the aggression on the seventh of October last year.
"This week, they refused – for the second time – my entry into Gaza where I intended to be with our UNRWA colleagues, including those on the front lines," Lazzarini said in a statement on the X platform on Sunday.
Lazzarini announced last week his intention to head to Gaza next week, hoping that the Zionist enemy authorities would allow him to enter the Strip.
He stressed that the Zionist enemy carries out unjustified arrests against individuals who confront the distribution of aid, explaining that the work of the Agency is still being suspended in the Gaza Strip, especially with regard to the loading and unloading of aid.
