HODEIDA May 05. 2024 (Saba) - A meeting in Hodeida province, headed by the Governor, Muhammad Ayyash Qahim, discussed the work required to be implemented to address some problems related to improving the appearance of a number of streets in the center and directorates of the province.
The meeting, which included the First Undersecretary of the province, Ahmed Al-Bishri, and the Undersecretary for Services Affairs, Muhammad Halisi, was devoted to discussing complementary works to improve the aesthetic appearance of some streets and implementing the work of constructing central islands for them, lighting and landscaping a number of main lines.
He directed the Public Works and Roads Office to carry out a number of works to remove the appearance that distorts some streets , parks and improve their aesthetic appearance, as well as prepare studies and proposals for the remaining improvement works.
For his part, the human agent touched on some of the obstacles that accompany some projects and works related to the construction of central islands, and the resulting traffic accidents resulting from excavations and the lack of speed in treating and filling them.
During the meeting, which included the Director of province Security, Major General Aziz Al-Jaradi, and directors of offices, service and traffic institutions, the implemented recommendations of the meeting, which is held on a weekly basis, were discussed.
The governor of the province and the human agent stressed the necessity of implementing the meeting’s outcomes on an ongoing basis and keeping up with the priorities in addressing and providing electricity, water, hygiene, health, transportation, traffic services, and meeting the needs of citizens to translate leadership directives.
