RAMALLAH April 30. 2024 (Saba) - Palestinian Presidency spokesperson Nabil Abu Rudeineh affirmed on Tuesday that the biased and unethical American support for the Zionist enemy prompted Netanyahu to challenge international legitimacy and international law and continue the war.
The Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) quoted Abu Rudeineh responding to Netanyahu's statements in which he said that the war is ongoing and that an invasion of Rafah will happen soon.
Abu Rudeineh said "Without the biased and unethical American support for the Zionist enemy, Netanyahu would not have dared to challenge international legitimacy and international law by insisting on continuing the aggression and committing more genocide against the Palestinian people."
He added "The blind American bias towards the Zionist enemy and its protection from punishment and submission to international legitimacy have proven that Washington has become a partner to Netanyahu in his crimes, which have claimed the lives of thousands of our people, and bears full responsibility for continuing the genocide."
Abu Rudeineh stressed that "the American administration is required to intervene immediately and compel the Zionist enemy authorities to stop its crimes, foremost among them preventing the Zionist enemy from invading Rafah, which would have very serious repercussions on the entire region and the world."
He emphasized the necessity of "urgent international intervention to prevent the Zionist enemy from continuing its aggression and holding it accountable for crimes that violated all decisions of international legitimacy and constituted war crimes for which the leaders of the Zionist enemy must be punished."
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a meeting with the families of the Zionist martyrs and prisoners on Tuesday at the Prime Minister's Office in the occupied al-Quds "The idea that we will stop the war before achieving all its objectives is not feasible... We will enter Rafah and eliminate Hamas brigades there - with or without an agreement, to achieve comprehensive victory."
